How do I log in to the user portal?
Use the PBX Login link at the top of the site. Your welcome email should include your username, temporary password and company portal details.
- Open the PBX Login page.
- Enter your username and password.
- Update your password if prompted.
- Review your profile, voicemail settings and answering rules.
If you do not have your welcome email, contact MyFonCompany support.
How do I check voicemail from my phone?
Press the voicemail/message button on your phone or dial the voicemail access code configured for your MyFonCompany account. Voicemail is commonly accessed with *62 or 5000.
- Dial voicemail from your phone.
- Enter your voicemail PIN when prompted.
- Follow the voice prompts to listen, save or delete messages.
For security, choose a PIN that is not simple or repeated digits.
How do I transfer a call?
Most desk phones support two transfer types. A blind transfer sends the caller directly to another person. An attended transfer lets you speak with that person before completing the transfer.
- Blind transfer: Press Transfer, enter the extension or number, then complete the transfer.
- Attended transfer: Press Transfer, call the recipient, speak with them, then press Transfer again to connect the caller.
Button labels vary by Poly and Yealink model, so a phone-specific quick guide is helpful here.
How do I forward my calls?
Call forwarding can usually be managed from the user portal under answering rules. Some systems also support feature codes for quick changes from a desk phone.
- Always forward: Sends all calls to another number.
- No-answer forward: Sends calls after a set ring time.
- Busy or DND forward: Sends calls when you are unavailable.
- Offline forward: Sends calls if your phone is not registered.
Forwarding to a cell phone can affect voicemail behavior, so ask support if calls are ending up in the wrong mailbox.
What is call park and how do I use it?
Call park places a caller into a shared holding spot so another person can pick up the call from a different phone. This works well for front desks, warehouses, retail locations and teams that move around.
- While on a call, press the configured Park button or use the assigned park method.
- Tell the other person which park slot to retrieve.
- The other person presses the park key or dials the retrieval code for that slot.
Support can add park buttons to compatible Poly or Yealink phones.
Can my Yealink buttons be customized?
Yes. Yealink line keys and memory keys can be programmed for common functions such as line appearance, BLF, speed dial, call park, voicemail, DND, intercom and paging.
For customer-facing support, keep the page simple: ask users what they want each button to do, then have support apply the configuration. This avoids exposing provisioning details that can break phones if entered incorrectly.
Can my Poly phone buttons be customized?
Yes. Poly desk phones can be configured with line appearances, speed dials, BLF keys, park buttons and other common shortcuts depending on the model and available screen keys.
For best results, send support your phone model, extension and requested button layout.
Why am I not receiving calls?
Start with the simple checks first.
- Make sure Do Not Disturb is turned off on the phone and in the user portal.
- Check call forwarding and answering rules.
- Confirm the phone has network access and shows as registered.
- Restart the phone if it recently lost internet or power.
- If only outside calls fail, contact support with example caller ID, time and number dialed.
What should I do if calls have one-way audio, echo or poor quality?
Voice quality issues are often related to internet, local network, firewall, Wi-Fi or headset conditions. Gather details before opening a ticket so support can isolate the issue faster.
- Does it happen on all calls or only some calls?
- Which users, phones, locations and internet connections are affected?
- Is the issue on desk phones, mobile app, desktop app or all devices?
- Send at least two call examples with date, time, caller number, called number and what happened.
Use the Network Test link when requested by support.
How do I change business hours or holiday routing?
Office managers can often manage business hours, holidays and answering rules in the portal. Because call routing affects customer calls, document the change before making it.
- Identify the main number or call queue that needs to change.
- Confirm the schedule, holiday date or temporary closure.
- Update the answering rule or ask support to make the change.
- Place test calls from an outside phone to confirm the route works.
How do I add or remove a user?
For user changes, send support the employee name, extension, email address, phone model, location, caller ID, voicemail preference and any call queue or ring group membership.
For removals, include whether the number should forward, the voicemail should be preserved, and whether the physical phone will be reused.
Can I use my business phone from my computer or mobile device?
Many hosted phone accounts include desktop, web or mobile clients. Availability depends on your service package and user license.
- Confirm your account includes the app.
- Install the correct client for your device.
- Sign in with the credentials from your welcome email.
- Test inbound and outbound calls before relying on it away from the office.
My phone says unregistered. What should I check?
An unregistered phone is not connected to the phone system. Check power, cabling and internet first.
- Confirm the phone has power.
- Make sure the network cable is connected to the phone’s internet/LAN port.
- Restart the phone.
- Check whether other phones at the same location are working.
- Contact support if it remains unregistered after the restart.
